VT TECH Announces Opening of Plastic Card Manufacturing Plant

Simi Valley, CA, November 1, 2003 - VT TECH’s subsidiary, VT Ltd., has opened a plastic card manufacturing plant in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam. VT Ltd. (www.vtltd-vn.com) production capability will enable VT TECH to offer plastic cards and RFID cards.

The first card manufacturing plant in Vietnam, VT Ltd. is composed of experienced team that has been providing identification and personalized cards, time and attendance, and access control products since 1996. The production facility uses advanced plastic card production equipment and technologies from Germany and USA. It has the capability of producing RFID cards, contactless smartcards (Mifare), and millions pre-printed PVC cards per month to satisfy the market demand.

VT Ltd provides all identification needs and complies with the ISO-7810, ISO-7811, ISO-14443, and ISO-15693 standards and that fit projects of any size. The capabilities cover virtually all services related to PVC cards:

Scratch off and hot stamping
